ActionSA's Mashaba says coalition talks with ANC over Tshwane not an endorsement of corruption

JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba says its coalition talks with the African National Congress (ANC) on the City of Tshwane's future are in no way an indication of the party turning a blind eye to corruption.
On Monday, Mashaba spoke on the Clement Manyathela Show after party supporters expressed disappointment in ActionSA's move.
The party has been in talks with the ANC in Tshwane on co-governing the metro after withdrawing from its four-year partnership with the Democratic Alliance (DA).
The split has also seen continuous talks of a possible coalition between the DA and the ANC amid ongoing leadership squabbles.

Tshwane mayor Cilliers Brink is set to face a no-confidence vote in council on Tuesday, which ActionSA has vowed to support.
The DA expects a decision on the metro's future to be made on Tuesday.
