CAPE TOWN - Western Cape’s Education Department is appealing to the public to support grade 12 learners ahead of their final exams.
This as the first sitting of the matric papers is expected to take place on 21 October.
The Education Department said that matric students across the province would be hard at work over the school holidays, to prepare for their finals.
With less than 30 days left, the provincial department has advised matrics, who feel overwhelmed, to reach out to their schools and teachers for support.
Education MEC David Maynier said that the department would do everything it could to support learners.
"To our matrics, you have made it this far and worked so far to prepare for this moment. So, this is the time to really make your efforts count, and we can't wait to see what the class of 2024 will achieve."
The department added that study material to help learners with their preparations was available on its website. This includes study guides, video lessons, and past matric papers.
