JOHANNESBURG - The annual Consumer Price Inflation has softened for a third consecutive month – coming down to 4.4% for August.

This is a marginal drop from the 4.6% seen in the month before.

The latest reading released by Statistics South Africa on Wednesday, puts the inflation print at its lowest since April 2021.
