Relief on the cards for motorists with predicted fuel price drop in October

JOHANNESBURG - Motorists can expect more relief at the pumps next month with a further drop in the petrol price.
The Automobile Association (AA) is predicting another decrease in fuel prices.
The decrease will make this the fifth consecutive drop in petrol and diesel prices this year.
AA spokesperson Eleanor Mavimbela said the predictions were based on unaudited mid-month data from the Central Energy Fund.
Mavimbela said unleaded 93 was expected to drop by around R1.18 per litre, while unleaded 95 was set to decrease by around R1.26 per litre.
"Diesel is set to decrease considerably by around R1.10 per litre, with illuminating paraffin set to decrease by around R1.04 per litre"
