JOHANNESBURG - Legendary musician and producer Chicco Twala has accused the defence in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial of coming after his family.
Twala made the remarks on Wednesday on the sidelines of his son Longwe's first court appearance at the Randburg Magistrate's Court following his arrest for theft.
Longwe's arrest came after his father reported over R300,000 of equipment missing from his Johannesburg home.

Twala also touched on his son's alleged involvement in the 2014 murder of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa, dispelling the accusations about his son's involvement in the matter.
"The defence in the Senzo Meyiwa trial they are just doing this for publicity and money that is how I see it. They do not have the interest in getting the truth, they are pointing at Longwe all the time. I think it's all about fame and all that," said Twala.
