CoCT offers free park & ride service for Bok vs ABs clash

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town is offering an expanded free Park & Ride service for spectators attending the Rugby Championship match between the Springboks and the All Blacks at the DHL Stadium on Saturday.
The city is expecting a sold-out crowd for the match and has urged spectators to make use of the shuttle service from the following points: Century City, UCT, the CTICC, Thibault Square and the Civic Centre.
Free parking has been made available at the Civic Centre, with 475 bays available on a first-come first-served basis for ticketed rugby fans from 11am.
Five hundred bays will also be available for match ticket holders at the Century City Steelbridge E-Parking.
At UCT, parking is available on Upper Campus and spectators can catch the shuttle at the UCT Shuttle North Stop.
The first MyCiTi shuttle departs at 12pm and the last return bus from the stadium to the pick-up points leaves at 21.30pm.
On-street parking in the CBD is available from 1pm for free.
The city said that a dedicated E-Hailing area would be established on P13 in Greenpoint Main Road between York Road and Wigtown Road.
