JOHANNESBURG -Tshwane executive mayor, Cilliers Brink, said that a coalition government consisting of the African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) would be "terrible" for the residents of the capital city.
Brink faces a difficult two weeks to keep his job after his coalition partners, ActionSA indicated they would be leaving the current governing coalition in the city.

ActionSA, with its 19 councillors in Tshwane, will be joined by the ANC and EFF, giving them a governing majority.
Brink said he was not obsessed with keeping his job as mayor, however, the current coalition of parties needed to be preserved to continue its good work.
"I think that ActionSA has made a valuable contribution and the alternative of bringing the ANC and the EFF and for ActionSA to be a junior partner of those parties is a terrible prospect for the people of Tshwane and ActionSA would not benefit from that arrangement," said Brink.
