DURBAN - The African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal said its working relationship with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has soured, accusing the party of being dishonest.
This was said by the KwaZulu-Natal ANC provincial leadership at a media briefing on Friday.
The ANC was supported by the EFF in various municipalities, including eThekwini Municipality, after the 2021 polls.
However, the KwaZulu-Natal ANC now said it is hard to work with the red berets.
Party provincial secretary Bheki Mtolo had this to say: “We have literally no relationship with the Economic Freedom Fighters.
"It’s hard to work with them because they are unpredictable like weather patterns. You can’t rely on them.”
