WC top cop Patekile visits scene of Milnerton shootout where 4 extortion suspects killed

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile on Friday morning visited the scene of a shooting in Milnerton where four extortion suspects were killed and another four seriously wounded.
An operation was carried out by a Western Cape task team on Thursday night and found four firearms and rounds of ammunition in their vehicle.
Police said the wounded suspects are under police guard in hospital. Patekile, meanwhile, said the investigation continues.
"We found 5 handguns on the scene and a number of phones have been collected for now. Just on the opposite side, a vehicle has been hit by a bullet."
