Two pilots, members of the Cotswold Gliding Club (CGC) in Frampton Mansell, England, survived a 'light aircraft crash'.

Reports say the pilots escaped 'without serious injury' and were taken to hospital after crash-landing onto a busy road in Gloucestershire.

The plane? It lost a wing along the way.

No other vehicles seem to have been involved in this accident.

The pilots were helped out of the wreck by passing motorists.

Photographs of the moments captured by passersby after the crash showed two men inside the cockpit who appeared to be uninjured.

The wreck of the aircraft, a motor glider, and parts of the hedge that had been dragged onto the road blocked traffic for the rest of the day.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.

“We don’t know the condition of both men, but we are waiting to hear," said a spokesperson from the club.
