Comfort over everything fashionistas - this one's for you.

In sneaker news, Nike in the US has launched their slip-on 'Furry Calm Mules', in classic black and pink retailing at $60.

If Uggs and the fuzzy variant of Crocs had a baby... it would look like Nike's latest furry slippers, says Friedman and judging by social media users' reactions to the news, they agree.

BUT what really got the social media streets talking was that the very first comment on a post by a sneaker news page on Instagram called, 'Sneaker Atom' was from Crocs themselves.

Crocs raced to the comments section to leave three of those 'side eye emojis' - you know exactly what we're talking about.

We know you can't read tone online but it's giving... shade... but other social media users in the same comments section loved the commentary.

"It's so funny that Crocs was kinda going 'REALLY???' in the comments section... Nike is also so quick to sue people, and here they've basically taken the Crocs model with a bit of Ugg thrown in and it's no problem - so there were lots of reactions online - but would you wear them?"
