Two nabbed over possession of drugs worth R4m
The Hawks received a tip-off about a vehicle transporting the narcotics from Cape Town to Gauteng. The pair was nabbed on the N2 near Strand, in Cape Town.

CAPE TOWN -The Hawks have arrested a duo found in possession of drugs - mandrax, with an estimated street value of over R4 million.
Authorities received a tip-off about a vehicle transporting the narcotics from Cape Town to Gauteng.
Spokesperson Zinzi Hani said they nabbed the pair on the N2 near Strand in Cape Town.
"During the search, the officers discovered 71, 000 mandrax tablets (71 packets) as well as 14kg (14 bricks) of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash. The officers arrested the suspects for dealing in drugs and were immediately detained at Strand SAPS [South African Police Service]."
The pair is expected to appear at the Strand Magistrates Court on Monday.
