Five people killed in head-on collision in Senekal, Free State

JOHANNESBURG - Five people have died after the vehicles they were travelling in, collided in Senekal in the Free State on Friday night.
It is understood the accident took place last on the R707 near Marquard.
Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) officials said the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the crash occurred.
RTMC Spokesperson Simon Zwane said it's not yet clear what caused the accident, but investigations are underway.
"Information received indicates that the vehicles were travelling in different directions when they collided, resulting in the death of two males and three females."
