The former Rondebosch Boys' Preparatory School teacher is also on trial in Cape Town on similar charges brought by a former pupil.
Meanwhile, Justice Minister Thembi Simelane has approved his extradition to Scotland to face more than 70 child abuse charges, and he was given 14 days to appeal or review her decision.
"However, given his pending case, the State shall keep his extradition in abeyance pending the finalisation of his case. Should he be found guilty, he shall first serve his sentence in South Africa and then be extradited thereafter," said Western Cape NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila.
