It appears JK Rowling is scrambling as she might be in serious trouble.
The Harry Potter author has reportedly gone silent across social media and deleted several of her posts on X (formally Twitter) about Olympic Algerian boxer Imane Khelif.
Rowling was among many who bashed the boxer, alleging she was a man competing in a women’s sport at the recent Paris Games.
She described the match as "a male punching a female".
Khelif has since filed a lawsuit in France over the cyber harassment, naming the likes of Rowling, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump.
