WC Community Police Board says it is outraged by relentless violence in province
Over the weekend, multiple lives were lost and several other people were wounded in areas across Western Cape, including Paarl, Hanover Park, and Hout Bay.

CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Community Police Board said it is outraged by what it called the relentless violence that has gripped the Cape recently.
The community of Hout Bay was rocked by a shooting near the harbour, which claimed the lives of multiple people on Friday night.

On the same night in Paarl, a learner from Paulus Joubert Secondary School, Lee-Hogan Williams, was stabbed to death while walking with his friend.
Then on Saturday, seven teenagers were wounded in a shooting incident in Hanover Park, an area already gripped by gang violence.
Western Cape Provincial Community Police Board's Justin Kumlehn said: "Beyond these incidents, other areas, including Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, and Zwelihle, also experienced deadly violence over the weekend. Each of these communities is left mourning the loss of loved ones, with residents living in fear of what may come next."
