JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has instructed the party’s supporters to stop sulking over the departure of Floyd Shivambu from the organisation.
Malema shared his views on the departure of his former deputy Floyd Shivambu’s decision to abandon the movement, describing it as a betrayal of the organisation.
He was addressing thousands of EFF members at the organisation’s Ground Forces Forum held at the Orlando Community Hall in Soweto on Monday night.

Despite Shivambu’s appeal to the party’s leadership not to mischaracterise and slander his departure, it seems his plea has fallen on deaf ears.
Malema referred to Shivambu and those who’ve left the EFF as cowards, insisting they weren't brave enough to give honest reasons for jumping ship.
Malema has told the EFF’s supporters that while it hurts to lose important role players, the time of mourning Shivambu’s exit was over.
"We are ending the mourning period today. Let's stop complaining and moaning about people who are gone."
He said that those who wanted to leave the EFF for the MK Party were more than welcome to pack their bags.
