DURBAN - The African National Congress (ANC) National Working Committee said that despite the losses in Kwazulu-Natal (KZN) during the May general polls, it will not disband the province.
This follows feedback from KZN structures, on what went wrong at the polls.
The party's top brass including ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa met with with the provincial executive in Durban.
ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula said that they are not in the province to interfere.
"I can't comment on disbandment because disbandment is not a preoccupation of our visit."
He said that the party wants to rebuild structures instead.
"There might be those who wish that, but you don't build by disbanding, but there are more important things that need to be done to strengthen this province."
