Malema says departure of leaders from EFF doesn’t indicate beginning of party’s end
Malema’s deputy, Floyd Shivambu, and EFF MP Mzwanele Manyi left the organisation to join the newly formed MK Party.

JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema said the departure of leaders from his party does not indicate the beginning of the end for the red berets.
His deputy, Floyd Shivambu, and EFF member of Parliament (MP) Mzwanele Manyi left the organisation to join the newly formed uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party.

Speaking during a media briefing at the EFF's headquarters in Johannesburg on Thursday, Malema said the EFF will survive despite ongoing challenges.
“Be rest assured that tomorrow the doors of this building will be open. We are not closing this building today and we will not close it tomorrow. It will remain here as a monument for the struggle for economic freedom in our lifetime.”
