ActionSA welcomes City of Tshwane scrapping historical water bills for Hammanskraal residents
The party said the city's decision was a recognition of the hardships faced by residents who have been deprived of water for over 18 years.

JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA has welcomed a decision by the City of Tshwane to scrap historical water bills for residents of Hammanskraal.
Residents have experienced continuous water supply challenges, despite upgrades to the Temba Water Treatment Plant.
The party said the city's decision was a recognition of the hardships faced by residents who had been deprived of water for over 18 years.
ActionSA's Tshepiso Modiba: "As a member of the Multi-party Tshwane Coalition Government, we commend this proactive step towards justice for the residents of Hammanskraal. ActionSA has long advocated for access to clean drinking water in Hammanskraal and we are pleased to see progress being made with the anticipated arrival of clean water in September 2024."
