"At around 20:20, [police] searched the occupants and the entire premises during which they discovered and confiscated a .38 special revolver and a zip gun with ammunition. They subsequently arrested ten males," Swartbooi said.
Swartbooi said in an unrelated incident in Manenberg, police responded to a shooting incident on Monday.
"Upon entering Manenberg Avenue at around 20:30, they saw people fleeing in different directions. The police members followed on foot and entered a dwelling where a person of interest indicated the firearm, which was allegedly used in the shooting incident, hidden behind a television mounted on the wall."
Swartbooi said a 37-year-old man was arrested and once charged, all the suspects will appear in court.
