We've lost an icon - Rebecca Malope on Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule's passing

JOHANNESBURG - Radio personality Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule is being described as an icon as many pay tribute to her following her death.
Mbokazi-Nkambule, who also founded the Crown Gospel Awards, died in the early hours of Monday morning at 52 years old.
Gospel singer Rebecca Malope said Mbokazi-Nkambule was a legend who empowered the gospel industry.
"She stood up for gospel. She made gospel to be vibrant. She made gospel to spread all over. She discovered so many talents, talents that we never thought existed."
Malope said Mbokazi-Nkambule will be greatly missed.
"We are just so sad. We just lost an icon there. We just lost a woman of strength, a woman of beauty, a woman of love, a woman of God."
