JOHANNESBURG - The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) has lambasted the country's intelligence following the discovery of a suspected military training camp in Limpopo.

The Hawks in the province were alerted by community members about suspicious activity taking place at the camp on a farm in Modimolle, before making a bust.

Officers subsequently confiscated legal firearms including rifles, pistols and, ammunition on the camp.

"The ACDP believes there is a genuine cause for concern, like many South Africans, and again calls on our crime fighting agencies to leave no stone unturned in its investigations and to expose and neutralise all illegal military activities found operating within our borders," said ACDP deputy president Wayne Thring.
