Ace Magashule's former PA Moroadi Cholota extradited to South Africa
Cholota was arrested in April and a US court subsequently approved her extradition. She was then held in custody pending a final decision from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

JOHANNESBURG - Well-placed sources have confirmed that Moroadi Cholota, former Free State premier Ace Magashule's ex PA, is now en route to South Africa.
Cholata was meant to be a key witness for the State in its case against Magashule in the High Court in Bloemfontein, where he’s accused in connection with a dodgy R255 million contract to identify and eradicate asbestos roofing on low-cost houses.
She’s since backtracked on the agreement, though, and is now being extradited from the United States, where she’s currently based, to stand trial alongside her one-time boss and his other co-accused.
Cholota was arrested in April and a US court subsequently approved her extradition. She was then held in custody pending a final decision from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
That decision now appears to have been taken, with well-placed sources having confirmed to Eyewitness News that Cholota is now being extradited.
Details are scant at the moment but she is expected to arrive in the country later on Thursday.
