JOHANNESBURG - Ekurhuleni Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza said that violence and unrest would not be tolerated after controversial pastor Paseka 'Mboro' Motsoeneng wielded a machete at a primary school in Katlehong.

It's understood that Mboro forcibly removed his grandchildren from the school after his son was denied access to them.
Motsoeneng’s church, known as the Incredible Happenings, was also torched on Tuesday.
Xhakaza said schools were supposed to be safe spaces.
"We expect a lot from church leaders, and we hope our law enforcement, the arm of the law, will be strengthened because what’s been happening here has been barbaric. I mean, schools are a place of learning."
Meanwhile, five people have since been arrested and are set to appear in court on Wednesday.
