CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Infrastructure Department says teams are making good progress on the road that directly links the town of Citrusdal to the N7 highway.
A section of the MR310, or R303 washed away when heavy rains hit the province in recent weeks.
Infrastructure MEC, Tertuis Simmers: "Road users must please note that there is the probability of traffic being allowed to use the section from late on Wednesday, the 7th of August 2024 or early on Thursday, the 8th of August 2024. However, this will be done under strict traffic control. Should road user behaviour endanger the lives of road workers, we will be forced to close the road until construction is completed."
