UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has criticised Elon Musk after the tech billionaire suggested that the recent surge in far-right violence in the UK was 'inevitable'.
Musk commented in response to a video by conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, depicting some of the unrest.

Starmer’s spokesperson dismissed Musk’s claim, saying that the violence is perpetrated by a small, extremist group that does not represent the majority of Britons.
The spokesperson emphasised that such comments are unjustifiable and that the violence seen in the UK is a form of 'organised, violent thuggery' with no place in society or online.
Musk struck back again on Monday night, questioning Starmer’s focus on protecting Muslim communities and mosques, tweeting, “Shouldn’t you be concerned about attacks on *all* communities?”
