He's known by South Africans as 'Good Things Guy'.
As the man behind the website of the same name, he's responsible for searching out the feel-good stories likely to put a smile on your face and have you believe that the world is not so bad after all.
But a recent experience with a cyberstalker threatened to derail the positive mindset of Brent Lindeque.
He recently secured a legal victory against the online bully, having been granted a protection order.
Lindeque says it began a couple of months ago when he received 'really disgusting' emails and messages via fake Facebook and X profiles.
"Bullying me, harassing me, and even throwing in a couple of death threats...it was absolutely traumatic."

Lindeque says it became too much and he sought legal counsel to put an end to the harassment.
"We managed to track them through an IP address...no-one on the internet is anonymous, we all leave a digital footprint."
Brent Lindeque, Editor-in-Chief - Good Things Guy
Lindeque has chosen not to reveal the name of the stalker.
"I've chosen not to name and shame them...being a public figure, I was aware that my followers might retaliate."

'I've got my life back', says Lindeque.
