MP deadly crash: Driver back home from hospital, 'might face additional charges'
The Mpumalanga Community Safety Department said the man was being investigated for culpable homicide after six children died when he tried to cross a railway line before a train crashed into his vehicle.

JOHANNESBURG - The driver of a school bus in a deadly crash involving a train in Mpumalanga has been allowed to go home after being discharged from hospital.
The Mpumalanga Community Safety Department said the man was being investigated for culpable homicide after six children died when he tried to cross a railway line before a train crashed into his vehicle.
At least 10 children remain in the hospital with some still in critical condition.
The department’s spokesperson Moeti Musi: "The police are investigating six counts of culpable homicide, and based on the investigation that is currently being done also by the police, RTMC [Road Traffic Management Corporation] as well safety engineering unit by the department, there might be additional charges levelled against him."
