Cardi B pregnant with third baby. Files for divorce from Offset

Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B is expecting her third child with her almost ex-husband Offset.

The two also share Kulture (6) and Wave (2) together.

This pregnancy announcement comes after Cardi B announced that she had filed for divorce earlier this year to end her nearly seven-year marriage with Offset.

"With every ending comes a new beginning!" she wrote on Instagram on 1 August.

"I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!"

The 'Bodak Yellow' rapper added, "You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, and what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and tests lying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"

The rapper duo started their journey together in 2017 and secretly tied the knot in the same year. 

While their family grew, their relationship has hit a few bumps since December 2018. 

In 2023, Cardi B confirmed she was single only to later reveal that she hooked up with Offset on New Year’s Eve.

Since then, the two appear to be on good terms as Cardi B told an interviewer from 'Rolling Stone' in May 2024 that she cherishes their relationship and that Offset was the first partner to uplift her as her 'cheerleader' and that it sucks to lose her best friend almost as much as it does losing a partner and marriage. 

Cardi B says this pregnancy has 'renewed' her power and is excited to welcome her 'new beginning'.
