Capetonians resort to 24hr laundry drying services during consistently wet weather
But HOW are you drying your washing?!

Lester Kiewit speaks to Sebastian Ricketts, Co-Owner of 24 Hour Laundry.
Many Capetonians have been resorting to taking their dirty washing to laundromats because the consistent wet, rainy weather has been preventing them from drying their laundry out in the sun at home.
For those without tumble dryers or people simply watching those electricity units, places like 24 Hour Laundry has become a life-saver.
Ricketts says while most customers have washing machines, they are looking to dry their already washed but wet clothes.
The busiest days of the week for Ricketts are weekends because they are faced with a number of customers bringing in school uniforms or work uniforms to be dried for the week ahead.
Ricketts notes seeing 'a spike in Google searches' for his business when periods of rain increase.
"It's challenging for customers to get stuff dry... so around this time of the year with this type of weather, we're very busy... consistent rain is when we're at our busiest."
