Hundreds of MK Party supporters gathered at the Beyers Naude Square in Johannesburg, near the ANC’s Luthuli House, to support their leader.

Zuma said he formed the MK Party as a form of protest against the current ANC leadership.
Bishop Sandile Ndlela, who was among the people who came to support Zuma, said he also holds a dual membership between the MK Party and the ANC.
“It’s the behaviour of the ANC that made us realise we don’t belong in it and that’s why Zuma created a new home for us in the uMkhonto weSizwe Party.”
MK Party Johannesburg convenor Theo Dlamini said many of the party’s supporters are aware of Zuma’s deep ties to the ANC.
The ANC said outcomes from Zuma’s disciplinary committee hearing will be communicated in due time.
