Zuma was appearing virtually before the ANC’s disciplinary committee, where he is charged with bringing the party into disrepute.
MK Party Johannesburg convenor Theo Dlamini said there was no need for the hearing to be held online.
“We have been in every different court disciplined as we are, there is no threat. People must stop the narrative that uMkhonto weSizwe is ill-disciplined and a violent party. We are a democratic party and a disciplined movement.”
