14 suspected kidnappers make first appearance in court

On 17 July 2024, 14 kidnappers appeared in the Lenasia Magistrate's Court. They were arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a Zimbabwean businessman who was grabbed outside his business premises in Soweto on Sunday. The victim is said to be a major gas distributor in Soweto.
