Western Cape has been battered by storms and flooding, with many streets gushing with water.
However, water sports enthusiasts have not let this get them down.
Videos have been shared on social media of people kayaking in the suburbs and surfing in the park.
For these brave few the floods are just an opportunity to test out their skills in new environments.
It is not only people that have been making the most of the weather, pictures have also emerged of penguins swimming down the streets of Betty’s Bay.
