DURBAN - The Springboks are anticipating a strong response from Ireland in their second Test at Kings Park on Saturday.
The Boks lead the series 1-0 after their seven-point win last weekend. Captain Siya Kolisi said that his team had to be more clinical to prevent the Irish from levelling matters.
Last weekend's Test at Loftus Versfeld didn’t go exactly according to plan for the world champions.
While they did manage to record their first win in eight years over Ireland, their performance showed signs of rustiness and adjusting to new coaching methods in between moments of brilliance.
Kolisi said they had to give a better account of themselves in front of a packed crowd to wrap up the series win.
"These games come down to which team can control the big moments, and tomorrow will be no different. We are playing for a series win and they are playing for a draw, so it’s going to be an intense match."
Kick-off at Kings Park is at 5pm.
