Tunisia's Nasreddine Nabi joins the Kaizer Chiefs team in Turkiye as he takes up the job as their new head coach.
JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed the appointment of Tunisia's Nasreddine Nabi as their new head coach.
The move comes after months of speculation linking him with the job after Amakhosi initially failed to sign him a year ago.
Nabi joins Amakhosi after a season at Moroccan club AS FAR Rabat, who he led to a second place finish in the league and in the wo seasons before that, won back-to-back league titles with Tanzania's Young Africans SC.
Nabi has a huge task on his hands as he will be expected to turn things around at the struggling Soweto giants, who ended the last DSTV Premiership campaign in 10th place on the table.
The highly rated coach has joined the Chiefs first team squad on their pre-season tour in Turkiye where they are preparing for the new PSL season where they will be hoping to end their nine-year long trophy drought.
