Lester Kiewit speaks to Western Cape Head of Disaster Management Colin Deiner about the damage caused by the storm.
Deiner reports that over 4,000 people in Khayelitsha have been displaced by the storm which hit the Western Cape on Sunday.
The City has not yet reported total numbers from other vulnerable areas in Cape Town but there have been no reports of lives lost.
"I would say, we are close to about 5,000 people all in all," speculates Deiner.
He says high winds are also concerning as they might cause fires, but the City is on high alert.
