JOHANNESBURG - The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) will hold consultative meetings with their members at Ford South Africa following a successful interdict of their strike.
On Friday, the Labour Court declared the strike unlawful and unprotected.
Workers want profit share in addition to their performance bonuses.
NUMSA has been ordered to do all things necessary and reasonably possible to ensure that workers comply with their contracts of employment and return to their posts.

But trade union federation South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU)'s spokesperson, Trevor Shaku, said that workers had rejected this.
"They have rejected the ruling and they want to continue with the strike on Monday. There will be a series of consultations throughout the weekend and NUMSA and the workers will advise one another, and we will hear from them, as a federation, what decision they have taken," said Shaku.
The Labour Court has interdicted NUMSA from promoting or instigating any further strike action.
However, Shaku said they were yet to decide on a way forward.
