Gauteng grade 1 and 8 applications for 2025 to open at start of third term - Chiloane
The delay in launching the application system for next year's intake in the province has left thousands of parents stressed.

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane said that the department would soon open its online application portal for grade one and eight pupils for 2025 admissions.
The delay in launching the application system for next year's intake in the province has left thousands of parents stressed.
Speaking shortly after his reappointment as education MEC, Chiloane told EWN that online applications would open at the beginning of the third term.
"The first day of the third term. But I'm going to have a press conference where we will outline the whole process, but the process is the same. We have improved the system, but I'll make sure that all parents are aware."
