DURBAN - The Kwazulu-Natal provincial government welcomed the announcement of a new Cabinet and described it as a team of skilled men and women.

On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the Cabinet for the seventh administration.

It consists of ministers from different political organisations, including the ANC, DA, IFP, PAC, FF Plus, UDM and Good Party.

KZN was the first province to elect a Government of National Unity, last month.

Premier Thami Ntuli congratulated the composition of the Cabinet.

"On behalf of the government of Kwazulu-Natal, we congratulate the president of the Republic of South Africa to be able to able to choose men and women of high quality and high calibre."
