702 Walk the Talk: Increasing tourism in Gauteng's historical locations
The walk will kick off at the idyllic Freedom Park Heritage Site and then move past some of the country's unique heritage sites while finishing at the Southern Lawns of the Union Buildings.

One of the biggest parts of events like the 702 Walk the Talk is its impact on local tourism.
In celebration of 30 years of democracy, this year's walk (comprising 6.7km and 8km) takes place in the City of Tshwane on 28 July 2024.
Over the past few years, significant effort has been made to promote the tourist attractions in Gauteng.
"What we are trying to do as Gauteng Tourism is to use events like this to rekindle the capital city."
