The Proteas have made it to a cricket World Cup final for the first time.
(The match - against India - starts on Saturday, 28 June, at 4.30 pm.)
Cricket South Africa posted a video in which captain Aiden Markram shares a few words about this epic milestone of making it to the T20 World Cup final.
Markram says the team is 'very chuffed to be in the final' and thanked 'fans back home for waking up early and supporting from far'.
Markram jokingly apologised for the close calls that almost had the team out of the World Cup and for 'giving fans grey hairs'.
'With one step to go... hopefully, we can do something special,' Markram concluded.Β
