State explains how Wendy Kloppers murder suspect linked to Ralph Stanfield case

CAPE TOWN - The State says six more suspects are being sought in a court case involving alleged underworld gang boss, Ralph Stanfield, and the murder of City of Cape Town official, Wendy Kloppers.
Kloppers was gunned down while doing a site inspection at the city's Delft Symphony Way housing project in February last year.
This week, three men were arrested for her murder before being added to the court case against Stanfield and nine others.
Stanfield and his co-accused, who include his wife, Nicole Johnson, face an array of charges related to allegedly running a criminal enterprise called "The Firm".
Warren-Lee Dennis, Michael Morris and Sharazaadht Essop, who are charged with the murder of Kloppers, joined Stanfield in the dock on Thursday.
Defence attorney Luzuko Guma explained how Dennis was linked to the Stanfield matter.
"The State has advised that there are also charges of POCA [Prevention of Organised Crime Act] that are being invoked and in relation to that, they then added him to this case."
Mayco member for Human Settlements Carl Pophaim said the city would be keeping a close eye on the case.
"I will continue to ensure that not only my directorate but the city collectively cooperates and works closely with the SAPS, as well the NPA, to ensure a speedy investigation."
The matter has been postponed to 13 September for the State to complete its investigation.
