Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis reunite for ‘Freaky Friday 2’

The highly anticipated sequel of the 2003 movie is finally in production.

Disney took to social media to share that filming officially began.

The original sees 16-year-old Anna, played by Lindsay Lohan, switch bodies with her mom Tess, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, after eating magic fortune cookies. 

“Jee wizz it’s been about 21 years since we got the first one. I was in grade six when Freaky Friday first dropped.”

While the second film's plot is yet to be revealed, we are in for a body-swapping treat, if the original is anything to go by.

Disney will release Freaky Friday 2 in 2025.
