JOHANNESBURG - The Patriotic Alliance (PA) has blamed the Democratic Alliance (DA) for extensive delays in the appointment of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Cabinet.
Earlier this week, it emerged negotiations hit a deadlock after the DA demanded 12 Cabinet positions.
While the African National Congress has labelled the DA's demands as unreasonable, it’s understood the parties are yet to reach an agreement.

Patriotic Alliance deputy leader Kenny Kunene says the DA is overstepping its authority.
“I'm happy the ANC is standing up to the DA, the Devil Alliance. I'm happy they're standing up to them. Their devilish attitudes and character and DNA has been revealed for everyone to see. Helen Zille wants the keys to Luthuli House. South Africans are becoming aware that the DA wants too much.”
