JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri said President Cyril Ramaphosa is likely to announce his Cabinet in the next 24 to 36 hours.
Negotiations in the Government of National Unity (GNU) are understood to be behind the delay in appointing a Cabinet.

On Monday, the ANC responded to the Democratic Alliance (DA)'s request for 12 Cabinet positions, describing it as an outlandish demand.
Bhengu-Motsiri said the GNU would not dance to the tune of the DA.
“We are not in a coalition with the Democratic Alliance, we are in the Government of National Unity, and we are going to continually reiterate that.
"It requires an appreciation of that and maturity. There are many others that have won seats in Parliament that are not making outrageous demands."
