Kibler Park residents frustrated with load reduction

JOHANNESBURG - With winter in full swing frustrations over load reduction has reached a boiling point in Kibler Park south of Johannesburg.
Earlier on Monday residents staged a protest over the newly implemented strategy in the area barricading the R82 route with burning tyres and debris.
Frustrated community members interrupted traffic on the busy route connecting Johannesburg to Vereeniging prompting Joburg Metro Police to intervene.
Like many other areas in the province, some Kibler Park residents say the impact of load reduction is "Inconvenient" and has forced them to demonstrate their frustrations on the streets.
