So, who is Tshepo Motsepe?
She is a successful medical doctor and businesswoman.
She has a Master's Degree in Public Health in Maternal Child Health and Ageing from Harvard School of Public Health and a Social Entrepreneurship Programme certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
If the name Motsepe is familiar, that is because she is the sister of mining mogul Patrice Motsepe.
She also has another sister, Bridgette Radebe, who is married to Jeff Radebe.
Motsepe met Ramaphosa on a blind date set up by her friends. She was 33 years old at the time.
“My friends kept saying I was getting old and needed to settle down… he was not my first choice, but my sixth,” she shared in an interview on Pasella last year.
