If you have walked around any grocery store across the country, you have probably come across the Samyang Buldak ramen noodles.

While many enjoy Korean noodles, it seems not everyone shares that sentiment.

It has caused a stir in Demark, moving authorities to ban the instant noodle brand for being 'too spicy'.

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration recalled several versions of the Samyang noodles for being so spicy that they 'pose a risk of the consumer developing acute poisoning'.

This means the Buldak 3x Spicy & Hot Chicken, 2x Spicy & Hot Chicken, and Hot Chicken Stew varieties will no longer be sold in Danish shops.

Samyang Foods, a well-known Korean brand, went viral in 2020 for its spicy ramen.

The ‘Spicy Noodle Challenge’ has millions of videos under the tag on TikTok.
